2b Hair Type Wet

2b hair type wet. Your hair looks curlier than types 2a and 2b but it s still a wave says connors. Type 2 wavy texture is not quite straight and not completely curly with the spectrum of hair ranging from loose loops to coarse thick s shaped waves combined with curls. As with 2a type 2b hair curls from the midpoint to the ends. You were basically born with perfectly styled hair. I have a variety of waves curls ranging from 2a 2c although about 75 of my hair is classified as 2b hair. My hair is also fine thin and has low porosity.

By the way this method also works for 2a 2b 2c hair types. When hair is wet curls usually look like waves but take on a three dimensional swirl shape as they dry. If your hair is mostly flat and straight at the roots but gets wavier and more s shaped toward the bottom then you have 2b hair. My hair is still currently transitioning fyi.

You ll notice an even shorter distance between waves than types 2a and 2b hair as well as a more defined s. It may require a little more effort to straighten but it s easy to create that.
